Golden Oldies - Skyliners

The Skyliners became one of the most memorable vocal groups of the late 1950s with their emotional ballads and rich harmonies. Formed in Pittsburgh, the group rose to national attention in 1959 with their signature hit “Since I Don’t Have You,” a song that has remained a classic of the doo-wop era for generations. Led by the soaring vocals of Jimmy Beaumont, The Skyliners created a sound that blended heartfelt lyrics with smooth vocal arrangements. The group also recorded songs like “This I Swear” and “Pennies from Heaven,” which helped cement their place in music history.
